Controlled Substance Stewardship (CSS) Program

CCPM’s CSS Committee is an interdisciplinary team with expertise in controlled substance prescribing and developing compassionate, evidence-based tapering plans. This grant-funded service, which originated at PCHC, provides case reviews at no cost to any provider across Maine. Each case review includes a detailed medical record review and development of a recommended tapering plan. It can be an especially helpful service for providers managing inherited panels.
